Want to work in Radio? Now you can!
Diversity FM wants to give local people just like you a chance to become involved in running the district's community radio station. There are no experience, age, gender or ethnic barriers here, everyone is as valued as the next person, whether you’re someone with many years experience in working in radio or someone who is just interested in having a go.
Anyone wishing to work on the station becomes a Volunteer and as such we’ll offer you training to help you develop skills in the areas you are interested in, be it presenting a specialist music programme, hosting on-air debates on local issues, gathering news, making documentaries, technical work, interviewing, administration etc.
The current cost for training is £60, this entitles you to a six week training course at two hours per week and then full access to the station and the potential to run your own programme.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a Diversity FM Volunteer, contact Duncan on 01524 383394 or e-mail office@diversityfm.co.uk You can also write to us:
